At [Gen2] you will learn about the Bible- the Word of God. You will be taught that the Word of God is not only the foundation for living, but it is authoritative in every area that it addresses. It is therefore the beginning of wisdom and a prerequisite for any academic endeavor.

A specially designed program of subjects (awarded from Emmaus current Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology and Certificate IV of Christian Ministries  and Theology will be taught. You will study biblical theology of mission, ethics, apologetics, cross cultural mission, local church, Christian character, biblical leadership and evangelism.

At [Gen2], what happens outside the classroom is just as important as what happens in the classroom. The Student Life programs will complete the educational experience by providing opportunities for you to grow spiritually, to develop lasting relationships, and to take on leadership roles that enhance the skills and knowledge your gaining in the classroom. Our goal is to combine what you learn in the classroom with practical application that will prepare you for real-world experiences.

Another goal at [Gen2] is to serve you, which is why YOu will have a mentor who in turn will guide you through a life planning process. The whole idea is to become part of a Christian community that is learning together, growing together, and, of course, having a blast together!

[Gen2] You will learn about professional development, working with a team, personal discipline, goals and time management, necessary qualities and attitudes, ethics, organization, delegation and supervision, discpling others to reach their potential, biblical leadership, problem solving, communication skills, and servant leadership.

You will gain practical skills in first aid, financial planning and even defencesive driving!

You will also have a better understanding of your Christian faith. Apologetics: A logical defense of Christianity and the Bible as an answer to higher criticism, providing the factual information with which to combat the assaults of human reasoning on the Christian faith.

At [Gen2] you will learn about missions. Students will spend up to 3 weeks) overseas i.e. Fiji, South America, Asia or Africa in partnership with local churches and para-church organizations. Students will experience different cultures and be exposed to their work and mission.

 

You will also travel within Australia to learn about outer-city mission. Places like NT and remote country towns will be visited in partnership with the local church -programs such as vacational Bible schools and holiday clubs.

At [Gen2] you will experience the joys and challenges of ministry as you serve in a ministry placement at least one day a week in your perspective church or one assigned to you. You could also be involved in serving in a local school. You will be partner with LUTANDA in camping ministry and other great ministries such as Word of Life, campus Crusades, Prison Fellowships, OM, GLO etc.
